Our summer camps are 100% place-based, meaning they all are mobile programs that utilize public lands - parks, trail systems and green spaces. Each day (Monday-Thursday) we visit a new location within 20 minutes of Portland, uniquely chosen for their potential activities, woods or waterfront to explore, creatures to learn from and more. It's fundamental to us to provide a space for kids to grow - emotionally, socially & creatively - through a balance of unstructured play and choice when it comes to structured activities with experienced instructors who facilitate opportunities to learn. Bigger camps aren't the right fit for every child, so we're committed to keeping these groups small to provide the most fun and growth potential. All of our camps are held in small groups of 8-10 children (1:4-5) divided up based on the grade they are entering the following fall.
