Fall foliage. Camping. Hiking. Journaling. Yoga. Ocean. Soul food. Mindfulness. Friday October 13th -> Sunday October 15th 3-5PM Arrival Friday, 12PM Departure Sunday This one's not for kids. We all crave meaningful connection. Connection to our self, and to others around us. When life moves quickly and we are caught up in it all, it can become difficult to pause and look inward. This retreat is about providing a sacred space for you to reflect, honor yourself and do what feels good. Often when we let go of these daily distractions, connecting with others becomes more impactful as well. Who this is for: - You identify as a woman - You enjoy being outdoors (in any capacity) - You want to connect with other women - You have experience camping and are comfortable with the ins&outs of it (this is not a 'learn to camp' retreat) - You are eager to pause, slow down and disconnect from your busy life and responsibilities at home - You feel like you don't have the time or emotional space to focus on self-reflection or mindfulness, and are looking for a safe space to do that - You are comfortable with gentle movement - You may feel like other retreats out there are too catered towards pampering clients. This is not that. What experiences are awaiting you: - Camping for two nights in beautiful Camden Hills in Midcoast, Maine in canvas tents (a few steps up from tent camping) - Two yoga classes - One guided meditation - Two guided group hikes during peak foliage season - One Leave No Trace lesson - Daily campfire connection & reflection - Daily (prompted) journaling sessions - One art therapy activity - 5 healthy, wholesome vegetarian camp meals (dinner Friday night through breakfast Sunday) *everything is optional. While we encourage you to try everything available to you, we respect your choice to take part in only what feels comfortable to you. What you would be responsible for: - getting to/from Camden Hills, ME (we will help facilitate carpools) - bringing your own sleeping bag, yoga mat, journal & headlamp - bringing appropriate clothing and footwear for the activities outlined here (nights might be chilly) - bringing your own snacks - arriving with an open mind and willingness to go "offline" for a few days To keep this intimate, there are only 10 spots available.
