Where unstructured play meets outdoor adventure education. Where: Baxter Woods, Portland Time: 2:10-5:00pm Session Dates: March 21st-June 6th (11 weeks) Best For: K-4th Maximum Group Size: 10 Pickup: Longfellow & Ocean schools A combination of exploring the woods, outdoor education, sports, crafts and unstructured self-directed play time. We provide snacks, supplies and any equipment needed for activities. Our goal is to give kids a safe and fun space to release some energy after school and be with friends old and new! Pickup by 5PM at "basecamp" accessed by the Percival St. trailhead. We pick up at Ocean & Longfellow Elementary at 2:10 and walk the 1/3 mile to the woods together. Spring Session runs March 21st through June 6th for 11 WEEKS total. No MOK the week of April vacation. Our after-school programs are entirely outside, RAIN or SHINE (we'll give guidance on dressing for the weather). Unless there is particularly bad weather in the forecast where there's a safety concern. Sign up and pay online, Venmo @maineoutdoorkids or mail a check (this helps save us processing fees!).
