Feeling "stuck" with your climbing abilities? Come learn how to be strong and efficient on technical and long ascents. The variety and diversity of the technical terrain here in Southern Maine requires refined skill and strength. Date: Friday, October 6th Time: 4-6:30PM Where: Libby Hill Trails, Gray Appropriate for: Beg-Int riders (see below) Maximum Group Size: 5 Join us for this half-day Climbing Skills Clinic at Libby Hill Trails on Friday October 6th. This clinic is tailored for riders who identify as strong beginners through strong intermediates. A non-competitive, inclusive and supportive environment to work on your climbing skills. Some of the skills needed to climb are slow maneuvers while others require momentum and power. Knowing which skills to apply and when is critical to developing a solid climbing foundation. This clinic is designed to give riders a complete climbing toolkit. We will work on body positioning, proper weight distribution, shifting & gear selection, weighting/unweighting maneuvers and dismounting properly from a climb. All of our clinics are held in small groups to make sure that everyone is met where they are skill-wise and given plenty of one-on-one instruction and feedback to build their confidence on two wheels. Our PMBIA Certified MTB Coach is ready to make sure you leave feeling more confident on your bike. All female-identifying riders welcome. Please plan to bring your own bike, helmet, water and a snack. All details provided once the date gets closer.
