Improve your fundamental skills & endurance in a non-competitive environment with other women. Dates: TUESDAY nights Time: 5:30-7:00PM Session: May 7th - June 11th Where: Rotating Location (Greater-Portland) Best For: Intermediate riders Maximum Group Size: 8 "Riding in the Women’s MTB series has been such a great experience connecting with other riders, riding new trails and improving my mountain biking skills. Effie provides just the right amount of structure, support and instruction to allow participants to relax and enjoy the rides but also to feel confident trying new things. Being able to follow her and the other riders over new terrain in a no pressure, supportive environment has allowed me to tackle features that I would normally stop and walk around when I ride alone. It’s wonderful how we all support each other and celebrate when one of us makes it up a steep climb or over a new obstacle. Riding in this group has been a lot of fun and has definitely improved my skills and confidence as a rider, I highly recommend it!" - Jen WHAT THIS SERIES IS: - 6 weeks of guided & instructional group rides - 9 hours of ride time with a PMBIA Certified Mtb Coach - Explore different locations in the Greater-Portland area - A place to meet other folks at a similar level - Build your skillset, endurance and try new techniques - Improving bike awareness so rides are safe and fun - Breaking down certain skills into small steps & sessioning certain lines when appropriate - Learning and practicing trail etiquette WHO YOU ARE: - You identify as a woman or non-binary - You love riding bikes - You want to meet & build connections with other riders - You want to learn your way around different trail systems - You want to improve your riding ability - You have been riding for 2+ years and are comfortable on green and most blue trails - You are looking to gain confidence - You want accountability to ride regularly - You want to be supported & encouraged by other women We highly recommend you take a Fundamental Skills Clinic (with us or elsewhere) prior to this series.
