Biking season is here! Let's brush the dust of our bikes, wake up the legs and refresh our fundamental skills. Date: Sunday, May 5th Time: 2:00-4:30PM Where: Gorham Trails Best For: Beginner-Intermediate Maximum Group Size: 6 Join us for this Spring Refresher Skills Clinic at Gorham Weeks/Moodys trails! Revisit the fundamentals of trail riding with technical skill-building utilizing the pump track, nearby parking lots for skills drills & the trail system for group riding. This is an accelerated version of our Fundamentals Clinic - we cover a lot! You should already be familiar with some of these concepts. - Body positioning - Stability & balance - Braking - Cadence & shifting - Scanning the trail & choosing lines - Trail etiquette - Injury prevention - Clothing & gear This is a non-competitive, inclusive and supportive environment to work on your skills. This clinic for women who are comfortable on their bikes, have been riding at least one year and are comfortable on green and blue trails. Beginners will find the Fundamentals Clinics a better fit. Never had formal instruction? Ready to regain your skills after the winter? Want to jumpstart your season to optimize your progression? Returning to the sport after life events, an injury or childbirth? Our PMBIA Certified Mtb Coach is ready to make sure you leave feeling more confident on your bike. All of our clinics are held in small groups to make sure that each participant is met where they are skill-wise and given plenty of individualized instruction. Please plan to bring your own bike, helmet, waterbottle and snacks. All details emailed when the date gets closer. It's early season, so we highly recommend giving your bike a tune-up before the clinic.
