MTB SUMMER CAMPS

Ride All Week. Grow Every Day.

Our bike camps invite riders to dive deeper—building skills, confidence, and connection through full days on two wheels. From trail riding to urban exploration, each camp offers a unique way to ride, learn, and play. Whether your rider is just getting comfortable or already seeking more adventure, our camps create a fun, supportive space where progress happens naturally over the course of the week.

Why Choose Bike Camp?

There’s something powerful about riding day after day. Skills stick. Confidence builds. Friendships form. Our camps combine guided instruction with immersive ride time, giving kids the opportunity to practice, explore, and grow in a way that shorter sessions simply can’t match.

Each day blends skill-building, games, and real-world riding experiences that reinforce technique without losing sight of what matters most—having fun. Riders gain balance, awareness, and independence while learning how to navigate their environment—whether that’s flowing through singletrack or riding confidently through neighborhoods and shared spaces. Over the course of the week, they don’t just improve—they transform how they see themselves on a bike.

"By the end of the week, our rider was tackling trails they never would have tried before—and couldn’t wait to go back."

Two Ways to Ride: Trail + Urban Adventures.
Our camps offer distinct experiences depending on the setting—each with its own kind of challenge, learning, and fun:

Mountain Bike Camps focus on trail riding across local singletrack and natural surface terrain. Riders build technical skills, trail awareness, and confidence navigating features, climbs, and descents in a supportive environment.

Urban Bike Camps take riding into neighborhood trails, greenways, and community spaces. These camps emphasize real-world riding skills—like awareness, communication, and safe navigation—while incorporating games, exploration, and destination-based rides. It’s a playful, confidence-building way to help kids feel capable and independent on their bikes in everyday environments.

Immersive, Place-Based Riding.

All of our camps are rooted in the landscapes and communities around Portland, Maine. Locations vary throughout the week and season to match rider level, weather, and conditions—offering a dynamic mix of terrain and experiences.

Whether on trail or pavement, riders build familiarity with local spaces while developing the confidence to explore them more independently.

Consistent Groups. Deeper Progress.

Campers ride with the same small group all week—typically 5–10 riders with one or two leaders. This consistency allows for personalized support, strong group connection, and meaningful progress over time. With more time together, kids feel comfortable taking risks, trying new skills, and celebrating each other along the way.

"She went from unsure on trails to confidently leading the way by the last day—such an incredible shift to watch."

Experienced Leaders Who Get Kids.

Our team brings together skilled riders, experienced educators, and genuinely great humans who know how to connect with kids. Mountain bike camps are led by PMBIA-certified instructors, while urban camps are guided by experienced staff who specialize in youth development, play-based learning, and building confidence through movement.

Across all programs, our leaders focus on creating an environment where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn—balancing guidance with freedom, and skill-building with fun.

They leave not only as stronger riders, but with bigger confidence, new friendships, and a deeper connection to the outdoors—ready to keep riding long after camp ends.
