MTB CAMPS

Registration for Summer 2024 is now open!
What makes our multi-day bike programs unique?

Our summer multi-day mountain bike programs are designed with riders of all levels in mind. No matter where you are in your riding, we are eager to help you develop your skill set and have fun. These programs are available to Goslings (2nd-4th) and Ospreys (3rd-5th) age groups.

Being place-based allows us to introduce or reacquaint children and their families with public spaces to enjoy time outside. All of our programs are mobile and utilize public parks and trail systems within 20 minutes of Portland, ME. Expect program locations to be different each day to experience a variety of trails

Bigger programs aren't the right fit for everyone, so we're committed to keeping these groups small to provide the best opportunity to build confidence and get plenty of individualized instruction. All of our summer bike camps are held in intentionally small groups of 8-10 participants with two instructors.

Using play and fun as the lens for all skill development, at any age, provides balance and space for growth. We use a combination of structured drills, demonstrations, group trail rides and games to practice technical skills and improve body awareness. We average 2-3 hours per day on the bike with the rest of the time dedicated to balancing out the day with games, crafts and other outdoor activities.

We are confident children and their families will love our team of experienced and PMBIA certified instructors who are committed to meet all participants where they are on any given day and support them unconditionally.

All of our bike programs are entirely outside. Rain or shine, we venture outdoors and help build resilience and confidence being outdoors in all types of weather. We work with caregivers to make sure each child is prepared with proper clothes, footwear and gear.

Multi-day bike programs are designed for all levels. For safety purposes, your child must have some basic bike experience including the ability to balance on their bike, ride up to 40 minutes at a time and be familiar with their bike. Trail experience is not necessary unless stated otherwise. Required gear includes a well-tuned bike (hand brakes, 4+ speeds), helmet & either bottle cage or hydration vest.
