WOMENS MTB PROMGRAMS

Registration for Spring 2024 is OPEN!
Why are our women's mountain bike programs unique?

Our mountain bike programs are designed by women, for all women-identifying and non-binary riders. No matter what level you are riding at, we are eager to help you develop your skill set and have fun.

We offer skills clinics and ride series seasonally in the Spring, Summer and Fall. We host Fundamentals Clinics, Climbing Skills Clinics, Spring Refreshers and more. Build a strong foundation for mountain biking through continuous practice - these clinics are great for all levels, including more advanced riders.

This is a non-competitive, inclusive and supportive environment to work on your skills. All of our mountain bike programs are mobile and utilize public parks and trail systems within 20 minutes of Portland, ME. Expect locations to vary depending on the season and trail conditions.

Bigger clinics aren't the right fit for everyone, so we're committed to keeping these groups small to provide the best opportunity to build confidence and get plenty of individualized instruction. All of our clinics are held in small groups of 5-8 participants.

Using playfulness and fun as the lens for all skill development, at any age, provides balance and space for growth. We use a combination of structured drills, demonstrations, group trail rides and games to practice technical skills and improve body awareness

Never had formal instruction? Beginner? Feeling a bit "stuck" with your riding and ready to progress? Returning to the sport after life events, an injury or childbirth? Not feeling in control of your bike? These are all awesome reasons to sign up for a skills clinic!

All programs are guided by Effie (she/her), who is a PMBIA Certified MTB Coach, Wilderness First Responder and processes a depth of knowledge about Southern Maine trails.
