Details:

Time to brush the dust off! This one's for the kids who can't wait to get back on their bikes and hit the trails & pump track. Where: Weeks/Moodys Trails, Gorham Time: 4:30-6:00PM Session Dates: Mondays, April 29th -> June 10th (6 weeks) Best For: Grades 6-8 Maximum Group Size: 5 Join Effie, our PMBIA Certified Mountain Bike Instructor and Wilderness First Responder on instructional weekly group rides. This is a progression-based series with a specific focus each week (body positioning, braking, shifting & cadence, timing, climbing and descending). Our focus is foremost on body awareness so rides are safe and fun, then technical skills practice and building your child’s community of fellow riders. Weeee! This program is designed for intermediate riders - those that ride singletrack trails regularly (at least a few times per month) and are comfortable on blue trails. A bike with at least 6 gears and front or dual suspension is needed. Space will be limited to keep this group small and allow time for individualized attention and feedback. Program will run for 6 weeks, skipping May 27th for Memorial Day. Memorial Day will serve as our rain make-up date. Questions? Unsure if your child is the right level for this group?
